Jiaozhou Governor's Hall is the former colonial government building during the German concession period at Qingdao, Shandong province of China.
The building was designed by the German architect Mahlke and was built from 1904 to 1906.
It has a gross space of 7,500 square meters and originally served as the Kiautschou naval and civil government office building and was called Gouverneurspalast [governor’s palace]. After the 1914 Japanese occupation during the Siege of Tsingtao the building became the Japanese headquarters until 1922, when China regained sovereignty over its province. Before and during World War II it was again used by the Japanese, and again became the seat of their occupation regime from 1938-1945. The building functioned further for the Kuomintang government and after June 1949 for the People's Republic of China.
